“Little Round Bun” is a puppet comedy exploring the search for identity amid social stereotypes. It is intended for children aged 7 to 15, as well as adults interested in the theme of self-identification.
While a 7-year-old may not yet feel the need to find their purpose, societal culture already imposes certain rules—what they should do and which profession to choose.
This performance serves as a gentle preparation for future social expectations.
Little Round Bun is a young girl who embarks on a journey into the adult world. She wants to explore different professions and activities to find her true passion because society is already pressuring her to make a choice.
Kolobok encounters a range of colorful characters:
• Hare, a team leader at a tech startup;
• Bear, a former star of Winnie-the-Pooh films and gummy bear commercials;
• Wolf, a carnivore trying to change his nature by becoming a vegan and seeking enlightenment.
The last stop in Little Round Bun’s journey is a cloud, which turns out to be a large Fox. Kolobok sincerely shares her quest for self-discovery and starts wondering—does she really need to find herself or become someone? Or perhaps she should abandon the societal roles that don’t resonate with her and simply do what makes her happy?
